An early red Litronix LED, tested and working condition. These early LEDs are built around a shallow gold carrier with a high dome frosted epoxy lens. The light output from these is very low, though the frosted lens makes them more usable as an indicator than other early LEDs like the Monsanto MV1. This LED has full length leads with no solder on the pins.
